Why Does Your Forehead Break Out After a Haircut?

If your hairline breaks out a day or two after a trim, it's usually not the cut itself — it's the mix of loose clippings, leftover styling product, and sweat and friction from the whole appointment sitting on freshly exposed skin. The good news is that almost all of it is avoidable with a rinse and a little timing.

Why does your forehead break out after a haircut?

Because a haircut leaves a pile of small things on your skin at once: fine clippings, the barber's styling products, oils from combs and hands, and sweat under the cape. Any of those can settle into the pores along your hairline and set off a bump a day or two later.
